The beautiful Aini ring is inspired by historical findings found in the so called Spillings Hoard in Gotland, the Swedish island, which was densely populated during the Viking age. We are able to admire several archeological findings of typical Viking jewelry, the rare finds of finger rings lead us to believe that this type of jewelry was not so common among all Vikings. The rings were popular with individuals, both men and women, and they were worn as a symbol of status and wealth. Bronze was also considered a precious metal alongside silver and gold and was often used for Viking jewelry.
