Wind of North
If you are looking for a period knife, which is as sharp as it is luxurious… look no further; Erestor is definitely a knife for the high-end customer who knows what they want. It is inspired by the historical findings of Viking knives in England, but we’ve added a modern twist. Erestor, a smaller version of the original Viking knives, will serve you well for practical use or just for display. It is a beautifully made piece of artwork with a strong emphasis on detail. An extraordinary knife, no doubt about it!
Erestor is handmade in our family forge according to authentic medieval procedures and centuries-proven processing methods. Not only visually it is very well processed, made of noble steel, buffalo horn, and deer antler, Erestor is also treated with gun oil, and both the blade and handle are polished.
The original Viking knife which served as a template for Erestor can be seen in the Yorkshire Museum in York, Great Britain.
